
ABPI and Bhutanese Community in Perth, Australia donates to Bhutan Health Trust Fund



The contribution was raised through a one-month, zero-expense fundraising campaign titled “AUD 10 for BHTF”, voluntarily initiated and coordinated by Mr. Tshering Phuntsho in collaboration with Abpi Perth. The campaign aimed to strengthen the long-term financial sustainability of BHTF, engage the Bhutanese diaspora in nation-building efforts, and raise awareness about the importance of shared responsibility for Bhutan’s healthcare system.

The Hon’ble Chairperson conveyed heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Tshering Phuntsho, Mr. Chhimi Dorji, president of ABPI, and the entire Bhutanese community in Perth, Australia for their unwavering support and solidarity. Their generosity significantly contributes to ensuring free and uninterrupted access to essential medicines and vaccines for all Bhutanese.
BHTF fulfils the Royal Charter mandate to sustain primary health care in Bhutan by financing procurement of essential drugs and vaccines.
