Bhutan Health Trust Fund (BHTF) is organizing a Special Move for Health Lottery in collaboration with Bhutan Lottery Limited.
BHTF is pleased to inform our donors, supporters, well-wishers and general public that we have successfully released a sum of Nu. 218.721/- million to the following implementing agencies in the current financial year 2016-2017 for the supply of essential drugs and vaccines till date.
BHTF is conducting the Commemoration of the Move for Health Walk 2016 on 1st and 2nd October 2016 at Clock Tower Sqaure in Thimphu. The event includes a marathon and health exhibitions and the objectives are to commemorate the Move for Health Walk of 2002, advocate healthy lifestyle, promote ownership of BHTF and solicit voluntary donations.
BHTF is pleased to announce that the Marathon for the Commemoration of the Move for Health will be conducted on 1 October 2016. Interested participants are welcome to join the Marathon even without registration. Interested participants who are not registered should report to Changlimithang Parking Area before 7:00 am on 1 October 2016. We will register you there. Everyone is welcome to join the Marathon and after the Marathon please join us for various health related activities at the clock tower on 1st and 2nd October 2016.Below is the tentative agend
A delegation lead by the chairperson of BHTF, Lyonpo Tandin Wangchuck was in South Korea from 21st August 2016 till 26th August 2016. The aim of the trip was to mobilize funds and link BHTF with similar institutions in South Korea. The trip was organized by the Chairman of Korea Bhutan Friendship Association (KBFA), Mr. William Lee. Mr. Lee has organized the trip for BHTF to meet with organizations in various fields- legislative, executive levels of government, politicians, non-profit organization, religious body, charity foundation, private sectors, media and pharmaceutical companies to make the trip more beneficial from different angles.

Dr. Sonam Phuntsho has officially joined Bhutan Health Trust Fund (BHTF) as its new director. Dr. Sonam Phuntsho has previously served as the director of Jigme Dorji Wangchuck National Referral Hospital (JDWNRH). Dr. Sonam Phuntsho has also served in various capacities with the Ministry of Health therefore he brings with him tremendous wealth of knowledge and expertise.
