Bhutan Health Trust Fund(BHTF) is proud to be a partner in the introduction of the influenza(Flu) Vaccine which was launched by the Honorable Health Minister, Dechen Wangmo on 6th November 2019.
Due to the high burden of disease, rubella was viewed as an urgent public health problem in 2004. The rubella campaign was carried out between 16 and 26 March 2006 and involved a total of 1,495 immunization posts. It was jointly financed by BHTF, WHO and UNICEF. The total coverage over the years have been close to 98%.
