Donation Received in Celebration of Sonam Nima Wangchuk’s 12th Birthday

The Bhutan Health Trust Fund received a heartfelt donation of Nu. 10,000 from a family in Perth, Australia, to celebrate their son Sonam Nima Wangchuk’s 12th birthday.
The Fund finances all essential medicines and four childhood vaccines. This contribution will be dedicated to supporting childhood vaccines. The average cost is about Nu. 268 per dose, which means this generous gift will help provide approximately 37 vaccine doses. Under the Royal Charter, every donation is matched 1:1, doubling its impact.
Also, the original Nu. 10,000 will remain invested. Only the investment income will be used to support the purchase of vaccines. This means the gift will continue to benefit Bhutanese children for many years to come.
Thank you, for celebrating your birthday by giving the gift of health to Bhutan’s children.
