Mongar Dzongkhag Donates Nu. 3,732 Million to BHTF

On behalf of the Bhutan Health Trust Fund (BHTF) Board, Honorable Chairperson of BHTF, His Excellency Lyonpo Tandin Wangchuk, received generous contribution of Nu. 3,732,047.78 (Three Million, Seven Hundred Thirty-Two Thousand, Forty-Seven and Chhetrum Seventy-Eight) from a delegation led by Dasho Dzongda, representing the people of Mongar Dzongkhag, on October 21, 2025.
The funds were contributed by Dzongkhag and Thromde officials, business communities, schools, training institutes, and the people of 17 gewogs under Mongar Dzongkhag.

This collective effort reflects the strong sense of responsibility and solidarity among the people of Mongar in supporting free primary healthcare services.
The Chairperson expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the team led by Dasho Dzongda, comprising the Dzongkhag Thrizin, the Dzongkhag Public Health Officer, and the entire community of Mongar for their inspiring initiative, unwavering solidarity, and generous support. Their contribution will play a crucial role in ensuring the continued supply of essential drugs and vaccines, sustaining primary healthcare services across the country.
